Follows the NEP 2020 Guidelines
Berries is a result of in-depth research for a series that would meet the daily needs of primary school children. It is a series of 10 books for primary levels. The series is designed in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines. The subject knowledge gained is linked with the child’s everyday experiences. The contents flow from known to unknown, simple to complex and concrete to abstract. Continuity from one level to the next and from one class to another is maintained.
About the Editors:
Mahananda Pathak completed his Master’s in English from Tezpur Central University, Assam. He received a Postgraduate Diploma in the Teaching of English (PGDTE), and an MPhil and PhD in ELT from the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (now English and Foreign Languages University), Hyderabad. Dr Pathak has served at the University of Hyderabad and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Hyderabad, in various capacities. He is currently Assistant Professor, Department of Materials Development, Testing and Evaluation at the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad.
Dr Asha Garg received her PhD degree from the University of Delhi. She superannuated as Associate Professor of Mathematics in Maitreyi College, University of Delhi, in 2018 and was hailed as one of the best teachers in her college.
Simarpan Kaur is an educationist and a teacher with more than 18 years of enriching teaching experience. She is TGT (Mathematics) in Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi. Professionally, she is M.Sc. (Mathematics) and B.Ed. She is a Gold Medalist from Delhi University for her excellence in academics. She has also contributed to NCERT for development of new techniques in imparting Mathematics.
Neha Sharma is a gold medalist in M.Tech. from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. She did her M.Sc. in Physics from University of Delhi and has worked as an Assistant Professor in Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida for more than seven years. Presently she is working as PGT Physics in a reputed school in New Delhi.
